It gives us immense pleasure to announce the National Winners of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2015. Team Aethers and Team Visioners jointly guided by their mentors Mr. Mohit Bahl and Mr. Manasvi Sihag of TechnoPlanet Labs emerged as the national winners. Team Aethers, comprising of Nikhil Dalmia, Sourabh Kanwar, Priya Dugaya and Himanshi Bhadana went on to win the 1st prize in Games category while Team Visioners comprising of Chirag Chhabra, Shefali Yadav, Neha Valecha and Jehi Jha won the 3rd prize in World Citizenship Category in the National Finals, held at NGF College, Palwal on April 22 and 23, 2015.
Imagine Cup is a global student technology program and competition that provides opportunities for students across all disciplines to team up and use their creativity and passion to create applications and games. Presently in its 13th year, Imagine Cup has constantly motivated young minds to use the power of an idea to change the world.
Talking about the project, Team Aethers’ Game is called “Tydee” where an alien takes up the task of cleaning the Earth. Teaching the young minds the importance of segregation and recycling in a fun way was the motive of the game. Team Visioners’ project is called “UltraFy“. “UltrFy” uses a ultrasonic and UV rays to heal a number of problems which include bone fractures, skin diseases, dermal wounds, cough and cold and much more
This is not the first time that TechnoPlanetians have brought laurels, but this relationship with Imagine Cup is quite old. The members have marked its presence at Imagine Cup 2010, 2011,2013, 2014 and now 2015. And we are sure that this legacy will continue
