The Indian Stem Foundation again came up with the FLL(First Lego League) North India Championship this year on 19th and 20th January. The FLL championship is an international level competition which contributes its support to skill development in the field of robotics and innovation. Manav Rachna group and Technoplanet gleefully hosted the event and also gave in its participation. Addressing the real world issues the theme for this year was “Into the Orbit”. The honorable guest Mr. Abhay Vaish(CTO of Fricsson, Gurugram) motivated the participants with his presence.
The members of the Junior FLL team included students from MRIS-14, MRIS-Charmwood, MRIS-46, MRIS-51, MRIS-Noida and Vega School. Mentors from Technoplanet volunteered the participating teams and brought out the best in them. Our Senior FLL team guided by Mr. Hardik Mavdiya marked the day by grabbing 3rd position and making seat for next round to be held in California. Our winners of MRIS-46 included 6th grader Manan Sharma, Tashvi Khandelwa, Kaayanat Sally; 7th grader Tavleen Kaur, Manya Gupta, Anvita Tondon; and 8th grader Aditya Sharma, Aditya Verma, Pradhyuman Shekawat and Yuvraj Guglani. The MRIS-Charwood was graced with the Special Mention title. We heartfully cherish the earnest efforts of our students and mentors and long for such moments in future as well.
